CodeDock is an iOS app: a mobile code-dispatch workbench connected to your products. Import App Store codes or connect your own product’s redemption backend, then check stock on your iPhone, hand codes to specific people, and keep a record of every handout. It can manage codes for products on other platforms, but CodeDock itself is iPhone-only.
FAQ
What CodeDock does today, and what it deliberately does not.
No. There is no CodeDock login. Download the app and use it on that iPhone.
On the iPhone, in a local database. iCloud sync is off by default. When you turn it on, your codes and history sync through your private iCloud database under your Apple ID. Language, appearance, and notification settings stay on each device. Turning sync off does not delete what is on the device or the iCloud copy. The change applies the next time you quit and reopen the app.
Creating a product profile organizes a product’s codes and handout history; naming a product or pasting a URL does not connect any backend. Importing codes hands codes you already have (a paste, .txt, .csv, .zip) to CodeDock. Connecting your own backend means it implements the codedock.source/1 contract, after which CodeDock syncs stock and redemption results, read-only.
Websites, mobile apps, desktop software, and games — the key is that the product has its own redemption system. Your backend serves read-only stock and redemption results over codedock.source/1. The iPhone contacts your server directly; the connection does not pass through a CodeDock relay. The token stays in the iPhone Keychain, excluded from backups and iCloud. Connecting is part of Pro.
No. The connection is read-only: CodeDock syncs stock and redemption results, while generating, changing, or disabling codes stays in your backend. CodeDock is the mobile management and dispatch entry point.
It depends. For App Store codes, usage needs to be confirmed by you in CodeDock — the mark is your own record. For connected backends, the redemption results shown are the ones your backend provides through the sync. CodeDock does not automatically track the usage of every code.
Yes. Before you send again, CodeDock can remind you that this person already has a code for this product. It is a reminder, not an absolute prevention, and it does not promise that concurrent sends from multiple devices never collide.
No. That mark is your record. CodeDock does not read Apple’s redemption reports, and it does not tell you that Apple attributed a redemption to a specific code.
App Store promo codes and offer-code files (.txt, .csv, or .zip), plus codes for a product you redeem yourself — a website, Android app, desktop app, or game — using that product’s own redemption link. A reusable code is not treated as stock: sharing it does not reduce the count.
Free includes one product profile, ten contacts, and unlimited batches and codes. Importing, sending, reminders, history, iCloud, backup, and export stay free. Pro removes the product and contact caps, lets you change the signature on share cards, and lets you connect your own backend to sync stock and redemption results. If Pro ends, the codes and history you already have can still be edited, sent, and backed up. New products and contacts follow the free limits again.
No. This version is for one person on their iPhone. It does not include shared workspaces, roles, or a CodeDock account.
